Google Launches Gemini 2.0 to Compete with GPT-5
Google has introduced Gemini 2.0, the next generation of its AI model designed to challenge OpenAI’s GPT-5. The update brings significant improvements in reasoning, code generation, and multilingual understanding.
Gemini 2.0 can process text, images, audio, and even video simultaneously, offering more accurate and human-like responses. Google DeepMind claims that the new version reduces hallucinations by 45% compared to the previous model.
In addition, Google announced plans to integrate Gemini 2.0 into all its products—including Search, YouTube, and Android—making AI more accessible to billions of users worldwide.
Experts believe this launch will intensify the AI rivalry between Google and OpenAI, with both aiming to dominate the generative AI market in 2025.
