F5 Networks will buy Volterra cloud computing startup
F5 Networks has announced an agreement with the emerging cloud computing company Volterra, which includes the acquisition of Volterra for $ 440 million to be paid in advance and $ 60 million in future consideration.
This new deal for F5 Networks is not the first of its kind but has made acquisitions amounting to more than $ 2 billion during the past two years.

F5 Networks is moving strongly towards software and services
The company is taking a broader shift towards software and services in recent years to go beyond its traditional networking hardware business, and it previously acquired Nginx with a deal amounting to $ 670 million. This company is in the business of web server technology and widely used applications in March 2019. Another acquisition of Shape Security was made in January of this year, worth $ 1 billion.
