Amazon Introduces Cloud-Powered AI Assistant for AWS Developers

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced Q, a new AI-powered assistant designed specifically for developers and cloud engineers. The assistant integrates directly into the AWS Management Console, offering real-time guidance, troubleshooting, and automation for tasks like configuring servers, writing code, and managing cloud security.
Built on Amazon’s Bedrock platform, Q uses large language models trained on AWS documentation and best practices. Developers can ask natural-language questions such as “How do I optimize my EC2 costs?” or “Create a Lambda function for image processing,” and Q will automatically generate the correct configuration.
Amazon says the tool will dramatically reduce time spent on repetitive tasks and help teams scale faster. Analysts see Q as Amazon’s answer to Microsoft’s GitHub Copilot and Google’s Duet AI, marking a major step toward fully intelligent cloud management systems.
