What is RDP Remote Desktop Protocole?
It represents computers that are accessed and controlled remotely, so that the user reserves a server/computer with a specific operating system that he can access through his personal computer remotely using the Internet, in order to fully control it and implement various computer operations on it. There are a lot of cloud service providers that offer RDP and one of them is Azure Cloud of which we’re going to talk about azure RDP.
It comes in two types:
- Admin Powers
- User Permissions
As for the administrator’s powers, you can install any software you want on it, download files and upload them, and connect to any other computer through it. As if you were the owner of the computer
As for the user’s powers, you cannot install any programs or save any file or communicate with another computer. Rather, you will work on what is installed on it before and you will deal as if it is a computer that is not yours, so you cannot use it as you wish.
Azure Bastion
It is a new cloud service offered by Azure within the type 2 cloud service model. (PaaS ) Platform as service that provides a direct, secure, and highly flexible RDP / SSH connection to the virtual machines in Azure Portal via SSL and without the need for a public IP on your virtual machines.
